To her, being a mechanic is just as important as being a driver. "It's not just about one role; I contribute to the industry in various ways," she explains.

Both Julia and Angie agree that more support is needed to encourage girls and women to pursue motorsport. The financial aspect is a significant barrier, as the sport is expensive, and earning opportunities are limited, especially in the Philippines.

"We need more Filipina women to pursue motorsport. It's important for young girls to have role models like us to look up to. If they see us pushing boundaries, they'll know they can do it too," Julia adds.
